Lamb and Child

Lamb and Child:  24 x 36 x 12 inch Bronze, commissioned by Knights of Columbus for St. Anne Church in Gilbert, Arizona

  Commission for Scottsdale Center for the Arts

Scottsdale Commission:  Patch Quilt Car, quilted pads made by artists and kids at the opening of the Fine arts wing of Scottsdale Center for the Arts 1999. The pads were attached to the car during and after the event.

Commission for Temp

Tempe Commission: Wind Driven Oil Derrick, 8 ft. x 14 ft. x 2 ft. made out of street name and bus traffic control signs plus other found objects.  They are kinetic to operate like giant whirligigs above a bus shelter at the intersection of University and Priest Drive.  Installed in 2004 as a temporary installation.

  Commission for Garcia School

Garcia School Commission:  Carmada, a Ramada made out of recycled material (wire spools and car hoods) and decorated by Garcia School children in 2005.

Commission for Phoenix

Phoenix Commission:  Enclosure, 20 ft. x 30 ft. x 7 ft. A temporary installation made for the Phoenix Arts and Culture on the campus of the Margaret T. Hance Park.  It is a field of 50 whirligigs as a statement about the immigrant labor force situation in the United States.

This is a group commission by the Heard Museum, Phoenix, Arizona.  Jose did the LATINO FUTURO section.  Each artist of the Latino community did a separate section to commemorate the Latino connection to the Heard Museum.
